Schutzhund tests dogs of all breeds for the traits necessary for police-type work.  At Von Schulte, we view schutzund as a necessary temperment test to determine if our dogs can go from a highly agitated "protective" state to being playful with children in an instant.  We use this insight to determine how and whether to use the dog in producing the next generation of  SAR working dogs.

Family Companion

Most important to us is the ability of our dogs to be a family companion. Many of our puppies end up in homes that participate in conformation or other work activities, but we are primarily focused on ensuring that each puppy is placed in an appropriate home for family companionship.
